What is Real Alternative Lite?

A powerful DVD to WMV video codec DVD to MP4 which Rip DVD to Hard Drive enables users to play RealMedia files without RealPlayer. The Real Alternative Lite supports RealAudio (.ra .rpm), RealVideo (.rm .ram .rmvb), RealText (.rt), and ReadPix (.rp) formats.

Components:

• RealMedia codecs [version 6.0.12.1483]: Required for playing RealMedia movies and audio.
• RealMedia plugin for IE: Allows viewing RealMedia content embedded in a webpage and usually installed together with the RealMedia codecs.
• RealMedia plugin for Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape/Opera: Allows viewing RealMedia content that is embedded in a webpage.
• RealMedia DirectShow splitter [version 1.0.1.1]: Allows playing RealMedia files in all DirectShow enabled players. Without this filter the RealMedia files can only be played in Media Player Classic. However, this filter only works with files that are on the hard drive and does not work with streaming content.
