As a collection of codecs and filters, this codec pack allows users to play all major audio and video formats, including DivX, 3ivx, OGG and XviD, etc.

Editions of AVI Codec Pack

• AVI Codec Pack + : One of the most complete package supports playing all major audio and video formats, including DivX, XviD, OGG and many more.
• AVI Codec Pack Lite: A smaller collection of codecs and filters. This package concentrates on playing avi movies and at the same time being small in size. Even with minor size, this package can still perform very well and enable playing most .AVI files.

Multimedia Compatibility

• Commonly : AVI & DIVX, ASF & WMV, Real (.rm, .rmvb), Ogg (.ogg, .ogm), Mpeg-(S)VCD-DVD (.mpg, .vob) and FLV.
• Others : all those handled by DirectShow (.mp3, ...).
